OUR STORY

After experiencing three miscarriages and the death of their daughter, Mera, at 9 days old, the Maimone family found themselves feeling very isolated and without many resources for handling life after loss. So they set out to create a space where families with similar experiences can connect and feel less alone.

 Since its inception in 2020, Mera's Mission has strived to create a sense of community support and connection for those who have experienced pregnancy and early childhood loss. We do this through hosting virtual support groups, hosting awareness and remembrance events, offering a virtual grief resource lending library, sending care bags to newly bereaved families, and well as honoring PAIL survivors on Mother's & Father's Day.
